JOEL FAVAZZA
FOUNDING ATTORNEY
Joel Favazza is the founding attorney of Seaside Legal Solutions. His comprehensive approach to practicing law allows him to handle an array of matters.
Joel has successfully represented both landlords and tenants; individual unit owners and condominium associations; construction workers and property owners; businesses and consumers; zoning relief applicants and impacted abutters; as well as clients in front of the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
A descendant of Italian immigrants who settled in Gloucester almost 100 years ago, Joel has strong ties to his community and is proud to be able to contribute to it further with his practice of law. He is currently involved with various Cape Ann youth sports programs, was a member of the City of Gloucester’s Capital Improvement Advisory Board, having previously served as vice-chair and chairman of the Board, and served as an elected member of the City of Gloucester School Committee.
Joel earned his undergraduate degree at Brandeis University, his law degree at Boston University School of Law, and has been admitted to the practice of law in Massachusetts. While a sophomore at Brandeis University, Joel started his first business in Gloucester, which he ran successfully for four years before moving on to focus on his legal career.
Joel founded Seaside Legal Solutions in 2010 as a response to the need for a 21st-century law practice on Cape Ann and is currently accepting new clients with offices in Gloucester, MA and Newburyport, MA as Seaside Legal continues to expand.


LAUREN N. WEEKS
ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Lauren is a recent import to Massachusetts and currently resides in Wakefield. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and received her J.D. from Elon University School of Law.
Lauren joined Seaside Legal Solutions in 2019 and focuses her practice on real estate transactions and landlord/tenant matters. Lauren works primarily out of Seaside Legal’s Newburyport office but is happy to meet clients anywhere along the Route 133 corridor.
In her spare time, she is an avid golfer and is a former project manager for the Edgewater Golf Club in South Carolina.

MUSTAFA SIDKI
ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Mustafa is a first-generation American whose family immigrated to the U.S. from the Middle East. He earned his undergraduate degree at Northeastern University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Political Science and a minor in Law, Policy, and Society. Mustafa received his J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law and has been admitted to the practice of law in Massachusetts.
Mustafa has successfully represented a wide array of clients, ranging from small-scale, owner-occupied landlords to nationally recognized residential and commercial property management corporations. He is an experienced litigator who frequently makes appearances on behalf of clients for hearings and trials in the housing, district, and superior courts across the Commonwealth, as well as in various state agencies.
When not advocating for clients, Mustafa enjoys spending time with his family on the North Shore, where he resides. He coaches his son's soccer team during the soccer season and is an avid sports fan and golfer, and enjoys reading and watching political/fictional thrillers.

KAITLYN C. SAPUTO
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Kaitlyn grew up in Manchester-By-The-Sea and currently lives in Gloucester. After graduating from Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School, Kaitlyn dove straight into her career. Kaitlyn worked in property management for 10 years before bringing her expertise to the Seaside Legal team in 2018. Kaitlyn is married with two kids in the Gloucester schools and loves to go fishing on her boat and read in her spare time.
